Presumably the new annotation (highlighting) types would be rolled out to the Kindle apps as well. They might even show up there first.

I suppose they have been getting feedback about people wanting to underline and circle things with reflowable content on Scribe. This would let you do it on any (updated) Kindle or Kindle app. Nice. How about strikethrough as well (for document review etc.).

I would like to have handwritten notes (so called 'sticky' notes) for print replica on Scribe for more 'symmetry' with reflowable format, ability to view with Kindle apps, etc.
