I got through four books of the Merry Gentry series, before the erotica crossed my comfort level a few too many times. I loved the fairy premise behind the books, and that's probably what kept me reading them that long. But after a few scenes of interspecies (well, what DO you call it when it's with a troll?) intimacy, I decided that was a bit too weird for me.
I tried the first Anita Blake book and made it I think through the second chapter, got distracted and haven't picked it back up yet. I will, eventually - but for right now there's way too much being released in my preferred genre that I can't keep up. I've spent more on books since I got my EZ Reader than I spent in the whole four previous years I lived here after losing my book collection.
