At Christmas time it is like running a blockade. Every few feet another one jumps out at you and tries to get you to donate. I'm happy to put change in a charity tub, but I would certainly never give my bank details to a charity worker in the street. If I wanted to donate regularly to a charity, I would do it through their website, not through some kid on the street. And some are very persistent.
