You will need to have Private Messages enabled before you can be sent the link. If you don't see that option in the "Edit Options" of the User control panel, you should post in the Requests to enable Private Messages thread to ask for PMs to be enabled.

You may want to check the Memory Upgrade Mod Guide (With Pictures) thread, a message How I did it On My Kobo touch (Using MAC) and Hacking the Kobo Clara HD – 1: Hacking the internal microSD storage for some help with writing an image. Several other Mac users have reported that using Balena Etcher worked well for them.
