I finally downloaded the Poke5 update.
Both the dtb and the dtbo of the Poke5 are almost identical to the Poke5P.

The kernels appear near identical too.

You've done the update and it installed correctly, right?
What did it do again when it rebooted? Was there ADB?

Don't "factory reset".
