How does one get more than 65K file objects on a Scribe? (I have only a bit over 6000).

I have noticed that the File IDs regenerate with each MTP session on Scribe, so with enough sessions the IDs can be greater than 65k. Perhaps that is the issue, but if so I cannot reproduce it on macOS. Restarting Scribe resets starting File ID to zero.
