I do think we need to be aware of the fact that, because of the new colour models, there are suddenly a lot of new Kobo users. They are being directed here from more lighthearted places, and they are looking at recent posts to find answers to their questions. But longtimers know that some of the most useful information is buried deep in topics, perhaps with unrelated subject lines. That said, I'm not volunteering to tidy everything up (yet..!), or add yet another wiki, introductory guide, sticky thread etc. But I do think that when a well-titled post appears, we should not find it beneath us to repeat information or add directions to useful guides for newbies. Over the years I've noticed that MrWolf can be "over-hasty" in his posts, and thus misleading. But I think he has a point here. I would find the home page of this forum (
https://www.mobileread.com/forums/fo...play.php?f=223) both utterly baffling and also out of date in the sticky posts, if I was coming to it fresh.
