Metadata are saved in folder that have same name as books + .sdr in the end (sidecar).
By default they are located in the same folder as the book. There are other options where to save them.
Settings are stored in settings.reader.lua, and settings folder (also history.lua for history of opened books). None of these are present in a release, so won’t be overwritten
