Thanks for your reply, actually I did all of my test on a defected nook which automatically enter SDP mode after rebooting, so I don't know how to transfer a kobo image to a normally running machine.

A tiny suggestion: After flash kobo image, replace ntxfw, hwcfg and waveform partition etc. with android one might help correct some problem, as this article said.
