Kindle Scribe - Error communicating with device
Hi everyone. I updated today to the latest Calibre version 7.14 and now I get the below error message and don't know what else to do:

I am using a Kindle Scribe and I have never had such issues until today. Please advise what can I do to fix this?
So far, I have restarted the device (the laptop as well), and deleted the driveinfo.calibre and metadata. calibre files to force a rescan. Sadly, the issue was not fixed.
I really don't want to reset the Scribe as it would be a hassle to put everything back and re-index, etc. so please tell me if there is another solution I can try.
Not sure if this is related to some new bug in the latest Calibre version, but I can say with certainty that with the previous Calibre version there were no issues whatsoever (aside from the problems with the squished cover thumbnails that everyone experienced).
Thank you 🙏
