I was going to link you exactly to that thread!!! It's fairly easy to open the phone, just be careful with the black edges, because they fall apart very easily, and the corners are particularly hard to take apart.
I can't stress enought this warning: when you do get the housing to come off, please don't just remove it all of the sudden, because the fingerprint ID flex can get damaged. It's somewhat long, but it feels particularly fragile.
