0. A firmware update disables the jailbreak, and all installed packages.

1. A restart (reboot) re-enables the jailbreak, but another restart is sometimes needed. But all packages have to be reinstalled.

2. A reset also disables a jailbreak and it also removes all user configuration and documents and other user files. A firmware update followed by a reset, or vice versa, will permanently remove a jailbreak if the firmware version is not jailbreakable.There is no factory reset.
