Good point - I stand corrected.
I guess I have a blind spot when it comes to Sony - they "ignored" me for so long I tend to ignore them now.
Anyhow, I hope BeBook don't drop the Mobi DRM format. The inclusion of ePub wasn't accompanied with a rumour to drop Mobi, but the CyBook fiasco makes me wonder. Of course, end of the day you can buy any format and make them DRM-less for personal use. That's fine for someone who doesn't mind a little effort, but for the average Joe who wants to buy a reader and load some books, no mess no fuss, it sucks.
I hate DRM, but if it persists, the more formats supported on each device the easier it is for honest consumers. But as usual they are the ones DRM, DMCA and the publishing industry effectively treats like criminals and screws over.
