If I was a "gamer" (I'm talking about the huge, modern video games) then this micro computer would obviously not be adequate (it would need a better video card, for starters). But I'm not a gamer and there's nothing I want to do on a computer that can't be done well on the "ancient" computer I'm using.

Photo and video editing, for example. And I don't own or use desktops where it's easier to upgrade components; as I need to be able to carry my daily driver around, I only use laptops. An 11-year-old laptop (unless it was a very high-end and expensive one) is not capable of doing what I want it to do on an acceptable level, at least not a Windows laptop. I know nothing about Linux.
