If you delete as I suggested then it can't show in book details. However, the standard Formats data does show in book details, providing you more accurate information, unless you have turned it off in Preferences / Look & feel / Book details. I suspect that your custom formats column already contains incorrect information.

All that said, I think you should do what you are comfortable with. None of us are you and none of us do things in exactly the same way.
