This should be fixed now with 1.6.1, which I've just uploaded - it was an issue related to picking up metadata when the isbn is already specified.

No idea about this one - I can't seem to replicate. But as part of the version bump, I've added some more logging around it so hopefully we can see what went wrong next time.
