The neighbour got the abridged version. I told my father and he also thought it was hilarious.

Today we went shopping. We ordered a sofa (eta last week of September) and my sister ordered a bed and mattress.

My bed is coming on Tuesday, and I'm really looking forward to not having to sleep on the floor (on my new mattress). Although my mattress is thick my back isn't too happy and getting up from floor level in the middle of the night at almost 44 years old is a chore, too.
