Installation needs to be done manually using physical buttons. Turn off the Inkpad, hold down the "left" + "right" keys and connect the USB cable. After connecting the USB cable, the book reader should automatically turn on and the button held down should start the update.
But before switching from Vivlio to Pocketbook, ask yourself whether you want to do it and how profitable it is for you. You will need the Vivlio update file to return to Vivilo.

I managed to update my Inkpad 4 by connecting my computer to the USB cable.
But the file downloaded from the 6.8.3614 link updated my e-reader to version 6.8.2015. Perhaps the content of the link has changed.
