I don't usually turn on WiFi on my Kobos.
I have a (bunch) of USB cables and with those, There are no 'terms of use', snooping, Ethernet sniffing... No Walled Garden rules.
Just look at how Kindles devolved what we could do by USB? (OTOH It is their servers being used for STK , so their rules)
OTOH I would love Bluetooth file transfer (would save wear on the USB when I do a touch up) (AFAIK The tooth is only for Audio out on the L2 device)
