Around here, I've gotten calls in English, Mandarin, Tagalog and Punjabi. I suspect they are looking for new immigrants who may be more susceptible to their scams.

OTOH, my spouse recently got a call from a "nephew" who needed to be bailed out of jail but had lost his cell phone and only remembered her number. The scammer was not happy when she went off on a rant about having told his mother that he was a bad seed who was going to come to a bad end and she hoped he stayed in jail until he rotted. Admittedly, she had me call the nephew's cell number—which he answered—so she was certain it was a scammer before she went off on him.
