Yup, same thing, really. Meow-meow-meow-yow, Meow-meow-meow-yow, ...screw 'em. If they can call and annoy me, trying to misdirect me to some scam site, they can listen to a recording of my cranky Maine Coon when he's in a snivet. I say to them, "oh, then you want to speak to his Dad," and I play the recording.....mwhaahahah.

before ANYBODY lectures me (!!!), no, the cat, despite his lines, has
never been bred. Neutered, no breeding, no kitties, nada, zip, zein, zilch. I'm a huge believer in zero population growth for kitties/puppies/etc. until we get shelters and the like emptied to at least a QUASI-reasonable size. Every animal I get (even a mare once) has been neutered, no matter what. (It made me cry, to be honest, about an amazing g Dutch WM Stallion I had once, with remarkable athletic capabilities and for those of us into these things, astonishing bloodlines, but...I did it anyway. Sigh.)
Yes, cut late (not proud! for those of us who know thereover I speak), but a non-breeder, nonetheless. Crushed my soul, really. But OTOH, I also knew that no eventually-unwanted, higher-end sons or daughters of his line would end up in the kill line, due to being bought by overhorsed brats and ladies-who-lunch.
