To start my kindle upgraded to 5.15.1.1 and I WatchThis'ed it and I decided to have some fun and set it to boot from diags but there is no diags partition on 5.15.1.1. So It got stuck in boot. I tried to solder unto the serial port but I failed i cleaned up the solder and thought
the bootmode is probably stored on main so if I reflash it. I found popcorn and tried it however imx_usb_loader did not find the kindle (I'm on Ubuntu) I saw a reply about that and replaced the contents of the config file with that. It failed so i found the kindles pid and vid from dmesg and put that in manually
but it couldnt open the kindle
So any ideas
of how I could get Popcorn to reflash it
