The only option is to Factory Reset on the PocketBook is to Factory Reset to default. If I plug it into a Mac and use Disk Utility to format the drive, I think Mac leaves behind hidden file traces of .Spotlight etc., but I guess that is okay?

I purchased Open Box because it was slightly cheaper. I compared the 53 free books on offer for English by PocketBook (Link Here:
https://pocketbook.ch/en-ch/support) against the 1400 ePUBs loaded onto my device. No matches; so they were from the previous owner it seems.

I will format the drive using a computer then. This shouldn't erase the software partition, I hope.
