I wasn't quite sure where to post this, since it's called a "romantic fantasy", but some of the other Aliette de Bodard books I've read seemed more to belong here, so here it is, and I'll cross-post to romance. In any case, de Bodard's Fireheart Tiger is $1.99 right now in the US.
