For me, using my Libra Colour, the one ebook I tried that set a background colour was very annoying. Partly that the ebook used inline styles so there was not one background colour but 16 of them. 16 shades of beige are 16 more than were needed. After I converted the inline styles to a stylesheet, I removed all of them.
