I agree with
@mbrisco that the Shorter Oxford English Dictionary is excellent for KOReader on ereaders. To me it feels even better than the one I was using with the stock kindle reading app, the New Oxford American Dictionary. It's certainly much better than the en-en wiktionary dictionary, which while does have a ton of definitions is somewhat haphazardly organized. The SOED in contrast has very well structured word definitions and has a lot of good examples.

It's a bit of a mess without the formatting unfortunately, barely usable.
Note that I might be able to help anyone interested in formatting their own copy of the SOED in the same way.
