The new development is that Walmart used to sell and ship Kobos on their own, as did Amazon (off and on) — plus Amazon had other sellers for Kobos. Now both Walmart and Amazon appear to only sell new Kobos via Blue Proton. And there's no longer any Prime delivery (or "shipped by") at Amazon, or two day delivery at Walmart. It's like Blue Proton has an exclusive deal with Kobo now in the United States — and they take care of shipments from their own warehouse.
