I didn't have the phone number (or details to find it) of the plasterer. I have now.
He did show us how to remove the wallpaper that didn't want to come off. We basically had to cut and scrape it off. When you can pull off glass fiber wallpaper easily it's fine. But when you have to cut and scrape tiny glass fibers come loose and embed in you skin and that's just horrible.
But it's almost all off. Just two small sections behind radiators and those should come off fairly easy (famous last words).
Next weekend we're going to remove the floor covers upstairs. It's mostly vinyl and carpet. Except for my bedroom where there are vinyl planks, which I strongly suspect are glued. If that is the case we can borrow a special tool from one of our neighbors, who got their keys a week before we got ours and are also redecoration.
At least today will be an easy day. We're not going to the house, but instead we have to research and maybe order a couple of things.
