This setting is, in fact, the problem.
ffnet, for whatever reason, has an
align="center" attribute on the chapter text containing tag.
You don't normally see it, because ffnet also has CSS that overrides it.
This isn't new, I remember seeing it years ago--chapters would appear centered until the CSS loads.
So you can either remove 'align' from your
add_to_keep_html_attrs setting, or add an
output_css setting to override it. Something like:
