A while back, I had an ARC of
Birder, She Wrote, which is the 33rd Meg Langslow book by Donna Andrews, and really liked it - as I've liked all of the Langslow books that I've read. I keep thinking Andrews will finally go totally over-the-top with the Langslow books, and she skates really really close to the line a lot, but somehow (IMO, at least) doesn't quite go over it. They're just plain laugh-out-loud funny, and I can't read them around anyone else. Now
Birder is on sale in the US for $2.99.
