I only use Goodreads, Barnes & Noble and Amazon.com and it seems to be Barnes & Noble that's slowing things down. Disabling this plugin speeds things up but at the cost of less relevant data.

It's not a good idea to get covers from B&N as they don't come high-resolution. I use either Google, Kobo, or Amazon. I only use Amazon if I don't get a hi-res cover from Google or Kobo.
