More likely Amazon can't offer the kindle2 in europe because the world-wide E-INK production capacity doesn't allow much more kindles to be produced and because they need contracts with the european authors and publishers first to offer enough ebooks here. Most of our authors and especially our publishers are not the best friends of amazon yet.
