Yes not as useful when overlaying text (but blank PDFs can offer some advantages over Notebooks, as you can put them in Collections and zoom in when drawing).

You could post some examples of poor conversion on KFX output plugin forum and @jhowell might be able to improve them.

When he was developing the conversion I sent him several nbk files with examples of all the different brushes and thickness settings, but I don't think even now he has a Scribe to check it on. And with brushes with pressure and tilt it takes more guesswork.

I would boil it down as much as possible to a single line per page.
