You can buy eBooks from any shop that uses ePub with no DRM or standard Adobe DRM. That means shops like Kobo, eBooks.com, Google Play Books, Smashwords, BAEN, and any others you know of that sell ePub wit Adobe DRM or no DRM. These ePub can be read on a Kobo Reader.
