1) enable the extended driver via the Kobo Utlities plugin
2) after Calibre has restarted, connect your Kobo and send the epub to the device. It will be sent as kepub.

You also have to set something up in Calibre Preferences. (Sorry, in French, but you get the idea, I hope.)
