In my early e-reading days, I got a Nook freebie,
supposedly a mystery. In actuality, it was a VERY explicit romance (if you could even call it romance,
I wouldn't), with pretty much one sex scene following another. A mystery was not terribly in evidence. It's not often I don't finish a book, but that one was indeed a DNF and a prompt deleting from my library.
It was clearly meant for a
different market than the average mystery reader, and should never have shown up prominently in the mystery category.
