You said Convert from the command line? You are creating a new (replacement), not converting, which is why the only outputs were book formats. CSV is not a book format

Sorry for the wording, of course I am not converting but creating catalog with 'calibredb catalog ....' on cmd line, the msg comes up, cannot generate csv.
On GUI option in convert menue the csv/xml does not show up, only bib, epub, and mobi
