If renameotabin was used correctly (you have to click "Rename" in the KUAL extension), then Kindle will not download or install the update via UYK, because the binaries are renamed and UYK simply does not work.

My kindle has had WiFi on for several months and nothing has installed itself, updates have not downloaded either.
