Hi, Im new to the forum.
I have been struggling with many duplicates in my Library and its difficult to delete 1 by 1.
Here is a method I used that helps delete all duplicates.
BACK UP YOUR LIBRARY BEFORE YOU START. USE THIS METHOD AT YOUR OWN RISK. BEST FOR MANY DUPLICATES.
1. Use duplicate pluging to find all duplicates.
2. Once completed select all.
3. Save to disk in a single folder. (remeber where you saves them).
4. Once Saved.
5. Delete all in calibre, REMOVE ALL.
6. Once complteted close duplicate search.
7. Go to folder you saved the duplicates in and search for (1) or (2) etc. These are the duplicates. Delete in the folder all with (1) (2) etc.
8. Once cleaned re add from the folder to Calibre. ADD BOOKS
9. The duplicates should be gone.
10. Check for duplicates again to see the result.
11. Use at your own risk, try a few duplicates first.
