I agree totally Dixiegal! it is all too easy to instil the headless chicken syndrome.

But back to the 'Pig' flu!

My wife & I lived (suffered badly) through the last major flu outbreak (which they are now referring to as a 'pandemic') in the mid 1960's with two babes in arms who we were almost unable to attend to & protect.

So far the only deaths have been in Mexico which several sources are speculating is due to local conditions - as the bird flu in China! There may (will) be more deaths but I expect not the 6/7% in Mexico - I may well stand corrected.

Don't panic 'just' yet people
