Also Redhat is owned by IBM. If they mess up it will be like Oracle's Hudson and Open Office. See CentOS.

article on Unity was probably written by the Unity Fan Club. The Wayland Fan club seems similarly divorced from reality.
No mention that Unity is essentially dead since 2017.
