Our high temperature was 66°F today. The last remnants of the pile of snow at the end of the driveway disappeared this morning. It was sunny and we had an occasional light breeze. And suddenly there were birds calling from the trees and brush out back. Not a bad day.
Temperatures should be cooler for at least the next week, with pretty steady rain. Good conditions for the frogs and salamanders waking up from hibernation.
