Yes, that works great.
However, (there is always an however ) when you have checked "Fit cover within view" and make a copy of that cover and past it on another book it pasts the cropped (= reduced) image.
On the original cover (right below) the full size is indicated, but the cropped size does appears on the new cover.
Obvious solution is to always uncheck "Fit cover within view" when copying.
