Started watching The Witcher a few days ago and now starting Season 03.
There are moments when I enjoy some scenes, but overall I really dislike it, main reason is that most of the time I don't understand what is going on. Never read the books, and never heard of The Witcher until the TV Show came out.
I was completely confused in the first season, until I hopped online to figure out why I was being so daft, only to discover that the storytelling was not linear and it was jumping back and forward through time. How on Earth are you meant to know that? It's not as if the historical scenes were in a type of dream sequence or a different colour profile. Nope, just looks like the rest of the show with no indication it is a different time.
Anybody else struggle watching The Witcher?
