I think I mentioned some time back that I had completely lost my sense of humor during the pandemic - and it has not returned. So I avoid any comedy viewing selections offered up to me on streaming services.

Instead I have developed a taste for quirky programming - and yesterday begin viewing Resident Alien - and I'm hooked. I vaguely remember the announcements when it was originally released but had ignored it. It's weirdly funny - and the deadpan demeanor and delivery of Alan Tudyk is spot on. Star Trek meets X-Files and slams into Northern Exposure ... with a dash of Stephen King ...
