I watched part of the Super Bowl and personally thought there were several things the CFL does better than the NFL. In the CFL, when kickoffs from the 35 yard line were routinely landing in the endzone (endzones are 20 yards deep), they move the kickoff back to the 30 yard line. Given the CFL field is 10 yards longer (center field is the 55 yard line), this is the equivalent of moving the NFL kickoff starting point to the 20 yard line. Perhaps you might see something other than a touchback on every bleeping kickoff because that is such an exciting play.
OTOH, I did like both teams getting a shot at scoring in overtime even if only in the playoffs so far. The CFL has that pretty much by default for OT since otherwise the first play in OT would be a punt. Punt it through the back of the end zone, collect the single point (rouge) and win the game. Fans are going yawn!
