Well, by the time I put in the big Viking (60"), and then did the soapstone surrounds around the two fireplaces, I think I spent more than any sane person would. OTOH, it was the (the Viking, I mean) the centerpiece of the kitchen, and the two soapstone surrounds (always, with bubbling this or that on it!) were the foci in the living areas. LOL.

I've been taking to use our air fryer more often it cooks faster and uses less energy.

I am so ambivalent about the air fryer thing. Firstly, I have a convection oven. I mean...just for the first damn thing. But secondly I have a life full of kitchen tools and gadgets. Blender, Food processor (Breville) (we make bread!), big-ass stand mixer (yes, yes, KitchenAid, of course) and all that, I have no idea where the hell I would put it. THIS house does not have room for a 60" stove or anything like it, trust me!
But I do hear a lot of good things!
