Well, by the time I put in the big Viking (60"), and then did the soapstone surrounds around the two fireplaces, I think I spent more than any sane person would. OTOH, it was the (the Viking, I mean) the centerpiece of the kitchen, and the two soapstone surrounds (always, with bubbling this or that on it!) were the foci in the living areas. LOL.

I am so ambivalent about the air fryer thing. Firstly, I have a convection oven. I mean...just for the first damn thing. But secondly I have a life full of kitchen tools and gadgets. Blender, Food processor (Breville) (we make bread!), big-ass stand mixer (yes, yes, KitchenAid, of course) and all that, I have no idea where the hell I would put it. THIS house does not have room for a 60" stove or anything like it, trust me!

But I do hear a lot of good things!
