I compensated for it a bit with a big-a$$ gas oven/range, Viking, for the log house (you guys may remember) and a soapstone surround/walls for the fireplaces that you could also use as overnight cooktops (awesome on oats!), but still...not an AGA.

AGA are not cheap. I did watch a program on how AGA are made. They are built like a tank. But they are insanely expensive and they cost a lot to run. No thanks.
I've been taking to use our air fryer more often it cooks faster and uses less energy.
