I'm happy to take it apart and put a new battery in, though it would be nice try a non-destructive way first - is there a recommended way to drain the battery? Wait ages? Short pins on the USB? No power lights, so no way of knowing if it's even on.

EDIT: Got the back off, battery (fully charged?) voltage is 2.92V, whereas it should be 3.7V
