Wifi off. I don't even have it set up for the WiFi where it spends its night anymore. It just seems to try to do something with the DB that kills the battery unless you've freshly rebuilt the battery, like a factory reset.
Kobo has had this problem for almost five years now. I've been waiting for them to fix it, and they've yet to do it. It affects the Sage too, but in that case it just never finished syncing.
